(Q) How do I register?
|
|
(A) Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes. To start the registration process, click on the “Register” link at the top or bottom of any Ukbids Away page or Click Here to go to our registration page. You must be 18 years or older. |

(Q) I registered, but never received a confirmation email.
|
|
(A) Be sure the email didn't get sorted into your spam folder. You can Click Here to contact us & have us re-send the email to you. |

(Q) I Cant Remember My Password or I Have Lost It.?
|
|
(A) If you have lost your Password CLICK HERE to have it resent. |
|
(Q) How do I update my registration info?
|
|
(A) Login to your account and click on the "Details" button inside your members area, there you can update all your personal information, including email address, newsletter subscription, password, view your account history/invoices, your current balance if a seller, and update your email preferences. |

(Q) I'm under 16 and can't signup?
|
|
(A) In accordance with standard law under 16's cannot participate in auctions as they legal binding contracts. |

Selling
|

(Q) How can I list an item?
|
|
(A) You must first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen settings and item description |

(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
|
|
(A) Yes you can, however we recomend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions may not display correctly. |

(Q) Once the auction starts, is it possible to revise my item information?
|
|
(A)Yes, you have two options. Login and visit the auction's page and there will be a link viewable (only when logged in and only viewable to the seller), the link will state "Click Here To Edit This Auction". Or in the MyPage area click on Selling and there is a link beside each auction listing that states "Edit". |

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
|
|
(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your members area and selecting the "selling" page. |

(Q) How do I end my auction early?
|
|
(A)Once again you have two options. Login and visit the specific listing and there will be a link viewable (only when logged in and only viewable to the seller), the link will state "Click Here To End This Auction Early". Secondly, in the MyPage area click on Selling and there is a link beside each auction listing that states "End Early". |

(Q) What do I do if my item doesn't sell?
|
|
(A)Simply login and visit the Selling page in the MyPage area, find the listings "Not Sold" area you will see the option to relist there. Just click the box beside the listing(s) you want to relist, select the days from the drop down or leave as the default shown, then click the "Submit" button and the auction(s) are relisted in that one click. Ukbids Away allows 20 relists of each of your items - Free of Charge! |

(Q) What do I do if I am unable to contact the winning bidder?
|
|
(A)If you have not receive any response from emails, you can also log in and go to the Selling area, click on the View Auction Details link and that will display all the auctions you have sold, along with each buyer's contact information, including their phone number. Please keep in mind that the buyer may have encountered a personal emergency or has been unable to respond to his/her email. (A) To place a bid on an item you must first login to your account. Once logged in a bidding box will be displayed at bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid |

(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?

(A) You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting your members area and selecting the "bidding" page. |

(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?
|
|
(A) Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid. |
