It's not required that you use a photo, however items with Photographs tend to sell better than those without.

TIP
Use descriptive words that clearly tell what you are selling.

Buyers do not search for words like wow and hot, so make good use of your 50 character limit in the title.

Choose how long you would like your listing to be available. You are allowed anywhere between 1 to 10 days.

Your starting bid is the lowest amount you are willing to sell your item (unless you also specify a reserve price) or the FIXED price of your item if it is Dutch (multiple quantity).

Your Buy It Now Price is the amount you are willing to sell this item for using our instant purchasing system.

The Bid Increment is the amount you would like your item price to go up with each bid.

Payment Info lets the bidder know what types of payments you accept.

Shipping Cost lets the bidder know who pays the shipping.

Condition of Item lets the bidder know at a glance what you consider the condition of the item to be in.

Front Page Featured lists your item in the most visible place right on the main entrance page! This is most effective for Dutch (multiple quantity) items.

Category Featured lists your item at the top of every category listing page in the category you choose.

Highlighted Background puts a strip of color of your choice across your line in the listings, while Bold Font Lettering gives your title a bold face. Both of these are cost effective ways to get you noticed.
